Boone has been with me since the day she was born almost 14 years ago in my brothers room at my Mom's house. She has been my best friend and most loyal companion through my formative years. I am fortunate to have Boone as a part of the family for so many years. She's a tough dog and has survived a lot. It started with her contracting the parvovirus at 4 months of age. She was fully vaccinated at the time, but it just wasn't enough. However, she was only hospitilized 2 days and ready to go home with a wagging tail and voracious appetite. With that she has been in her share of trouble too. Eating a beach towel, acorn, mulch etc. All in all she has had about 5 abdominal surgeries and numerous times of makng her vomit up bad things! Thank godness I have worked for vet almost the whole time I've had her!! But in saying all of that I wouldn't give her up for anything! She's a mama's dog and loved unconditionally!
