Technicians
Heather, LVT
Graduated from Blue Ridge Community College in 1998. She has been with Chesapeake Animal Hospital since 1999. She is a member of VALVT. She currently resides in Chesapeake with her husband of 10 years, and a cat and dog.
Suzanne, LVT
Was born in Norfolk VA, and graduated from VA Tech in 1978 with a BS in Animal Science, and graduated from Blue Ridge Community College in 1980 with an AS in Animal Technology. She has been practicing as an LVT for 28 years and lives in Chesapeake with her cats and husband. She had been employed at Chesapeake Animal Hospital since 1995. Member of VALVT.
Pat, LVT
Graduated from Blue Ridge Community College in 1976 with an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology.
She has been employed as an LVT for 32 years and has worked at Chesapeake Animal Hospital since 2002.
She has been a member of the Virginia Association of Licensed Veterinary Technicians since 1977 and has served as their Treasurer, Historian, President-elect, and President. She is currently serving as the Tidewater Regional Director providing Continuing Education to local members of VALVT.
VALVT Technician of the year in 1989.
VALVT Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007.
She has been married for 15 years. She and her husband also have three kittens, Noel, MacTavish, and Simon, all of whom were injured or stray animals.
Celia, LVT
Celia has lived in Virginia for 12 years. She first came to work at Chesapeake Animal Hospital in 2004 as an assistant. She then earned her LVT degree from Blue Ridge Commnity College in 2006. Upon graduation, she was presented with the Ursula Strider Memorial Veterinary Technology Student of the Year award.
Celia took time off from working upon the birth of her son, and returned to CAH in 2009. She and her husband and son live in Smithfield with 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a goldfish!!
